Winter
Whistler Blackcomb is best known for its’ winters. The two mountains are featured in many top ski resort lists but it’s not all about alpine skiing. The extensive trails in the valley can be explored by nordic skiers and snowshoers.
alpine Skiing
Whistler Blackcomb is a world renown ski resort which by some measures is the largest ski resort in North America. It features a wide array of skiable terrain, suitable for beginners up to advanced skiers.
Nordic skiing
Often overlooked the Nordic trails around Whistler Blackcomb are a hidden gem. The Lost Lake trail system is steps from the door of West Mac. The Whistler Olympic park is a short drive away and features an extensive trail system.
snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is a great way to experience winter. Accessible to all ages and abilities – if you can walk, you can snowshoe. Whistler has an extensive hiking trail network that can be accessed and explored via snowshoes.
Summer
Although known more for winter activities Whistler Blackcomb is a full year resort area. The summer season just has a different range of activities including hiking, biking and golf. Enjoy the summer in the mountains!
HIKE
Explore Whistler and enjoy the majesty of the surrounding mountains at your own pace. Whistler Blackcomb has a variety of hiking trails for all abilities, both in the valley, in the alpine and in the surrounding area.
BIKE
Whistler offers a wide variety of terrain for all levels of biking. There is an abundance of cross country and downhill trails. The ski lifts and slopes get well used in the summer months thrilling riders from near and far.
golf
Three fabulous courses can be found in in the valley – Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Nicklaus North and Whistler Golf Club. Nearby Pemberton features Big Sky giving golfers a variety of courses to choose from, all with spectacular views.
RELAX
After a day on the slopes, in the trails or on the course you can relax at West Mac or take advantage of of what Whistler has to offer. Explore the village, enjoy the Spa Scandinave or swim and relax at one of parks.
The Village
Stroll through the village and explore the many shops, bars and restaurants. The Village always seems alive regardless of the all season.
